What happens if I change my address?

If you change your address, this easiest way you can update this is on the 'My Pension' Portal. You can also write to us via post to let us know you have changed your details - address avaiable on our contact us page.

Please note, we can't accept changes over the phone or by email.

What happens if I change my bank or building society details?

If you change your bank or building society details, you must let us know by completing the Change of Bank Details form (PDF).

What happens if I move overseas?

We can continue to pay your pension to a UK bank or building society account. We may be able to make payment via an International Payment Service (for which you may have to pay a small monthly fee). This is available for most but not all countries and you need to be aware that the amount of pension you'll receive each month will depend on the exchange rate at the time of each payment.

Expression of wish

You must keep your expression of wish nominations up to date in order for your nominations to receive a death grant in the event of your death.

There are many advantages of nominating your relatives or dependants to receive any lump sum death grant. The main advantage is that payments may be made quickly, without waiting for your Estate to be settled and normally without any liability to inheritance tax.
